Voltage Divider Calculator

This app calculates the optimum resistor values for a voltage divider circuit, incorporating all resistors in the E12, E24, E48, E96 and E192 series. The standard voltage divider equation is shown below. VMid=R2R1+R2×VHighV_{Mid} = \frac{R_2}{R_1 + R_2} \times V_{High} There are 2 modes of operation: Fixed VHighV_{High} and Fixed VMidV_{Mid}. For example, if VHighV_{High} is fixed, the app will solve for VMidV_{Mid}, using the specified VMidV_{Mid} value as guidance for the optimum resistor ratio R2R1+R2\frac{R_2}{R_1 + R_2}. Additionally, a specified resistor value can be entered, and the app will only return resistor combinations that include this value. This can be useful if you have a specific resistor value that you'd like to use, but don't know what the other resistor value should be. Note: The specified resistor value must be in the E12, E24, E48, E96 or E192 series.
